Description

Scope

A network of Organisational Development (OD) Practitioners is required to support the delivery of the Trust's OD Action Plan. Members of the network will work closely with the OD Manager, internal OD Team and the wider Trust Leadership and Management community to deliver the OD and Culture Change work programme.

Background

The key driver behind the Trusts Clinical Services and Quality Strategies is "right first time, every time" and in order to achieve this the Trust need a highly skilled, committed and engaged workforce. Working to become a Best Employer the Trust aims to create a workforce that as well as being engaged, resilient and competent is also agile and prepared to adapt to a health service that continues to experience unprecedented change. With this aim in mind the Trusts people strategy 'Staff Matter' was introduced two years ago and is currently being revised to reflect the results of the recent Kings Fund Culture Audit and Annual Staff Survey results. The new Staff Matter strategy covers the period from April 2017 to the end of March 2020 and falling out of this is an OD Action Plan that will guide the work of the OD team over the next three years; as an associate you will be supporting the OD team in the delivery of the plan.

Requirements

The work will consist of 4 lots and each lot will be assessed separately. Anyone interested in one or more lot(s) will need to meet as a minimum the essential criteria for each one; you must be able to demonstrate current significant experience of working at a strategic level within large, complex organisations. You will also be required to provide evidence of recent and on-going CPD/learning;

as an associate you will role model the values and behaviours of the organisation.

The contract is for 24 months with an option for a further 2 x 12 month extensions.
