Products

Peaks and Paddles are outdoor adventure specialists providing a range of team-bonding activities for your company, business or organisation. Based in the beautiful Peak District National Park, we offer courses and coaching in canoeing, abseiling, caving, climbing and scrambling/orienteering, all of which are designed to build relationships and improve employee cooperation. Such exercises can make all the difference to your team’s efficiency (and ultimately to your company’s productivity). We have a team of qualified instructors and a range of courses to suit all ages and abilities.

Canoeing

Our canoeing routes pass through some of the most stunning countryside the UK has to offer. They are open from mid-March through to the end of October. Courses include:

  • Option  1 – Full Day Canoe – Combines Flatwater and River Journey. Maximum group size is 6.
  • Option 2 – Half Day Canoe – River Journey – Maximum group size is 6.
  • Option 3 – Half Day Canoe – Flatwater – Maximum group size is 6.

All of our courses are designed to improve employee confidence and cooperation. Equipment is provided. For more information, please visit Peaks and Paddles online.

Abseiling

Abseiling takes place at Millers Dale Viaduct in the heart of the Peak District, with courses available for all ages and abilities. Abseiling is a morale-boosting activity that has been shown to foster teamwork and improve employee concentration. Courses are available all year around and are led by fully qualified instructors. Because descents are one person at a time, we like to keep groups as small as possible. Maximum group size is 8. To find out more about abseiling with Peaks and Paddles, just head over to our website or contact us on 07896912871.

Caving and Mines

The Peak District National Park is home to miles and miles of underground caves, many of them ripe for exploration. But caving is no walk in the park – it’s both physically demanding and often very muddy and wet. We’re not talking showcaves like those at Castleton – we’re talking active adventures in the deep, dark bowels of the Earth! All activities are led by experienced guides who really know what they’re doing. We have a number of different routes, each lasting approximately 2 hours. Many of the caves are open all year round. For prices and availability, please contact us on 07896912871.

Group Adventures

We also offer a number of combined activity courses, which can include a combination of all the above. It means you can pick your very own mini adventure – a great way of bringing your team together. Combined activity days start at £110 (half-day) and £155 (full-day), based on two people. A full day for 8 people costs £265. If you would like any further information regarding our activities, please do not hesitate to call.
