Chain Care Lifting Services Ltd is based in Banbridge and supplies a wide variety of customers with a comprehensive range of top quality lifting products and services to support all their lifting requirements.  Our product selection includes hoists, clamps, lashings, shackles, slings, jacks, chain blocks, fittings, safety gear and turnbuckles, and we are authorized distributors of Crosby Europe (UK) lifting gear.  These products are backed up by overhead crane and hoist repair and servicing, lifting gear inspection and load testing, and machine moving.

Chain Blocks

Our range of chain blocks have a lightweight construction, but at the same time are extremely tough and are able to lift heavy loads effortlessly.  Featuring an automatic double paw breaking system, extra thick asbestos-free friction discs, added protection in the form of backed enamel paint and fully forged hooks our chain blocks have a lifting capacity of between 0.5 tonnes and 50 tonnes, depending upon the model, and a standard lift of between 2.5 metres and 5 metres.  In addition to the standard chains, we are also able to accommodate requests for German zinc plated RUD chains or Japanese FBC chains.

Eyebolts Codipro

Lashing Equipment

Our selection of ratchet lashings allows goods to be secured for transport or for being shifted or moved.  Ratchet lashings have become the favoured choice over ropes, wires and chains as they save time and can be adapted to safely secure a wide variety of loads, in differing shapes and sizes via the ratchet which allows tension of the lashing to be adjusted. One distinct advantage of ratchet lashings is that, due to their supple nature, they provide better protection to the load.  Please see our website or contact us for details of our range.

Safety Gear

We stock three different kits containing safety gear. Kit 1 is a basic kit containing an attachment point harness and a 1.8 metre shock absorber harness suitable for working at a height. Kit 2 has been compiled specifically for working on a scaffold and contains an attachment point harness, 1.8 metre shock absorber lanyard and scaffold hook.  Finally, Kit 3 comprises 2.5 metre mini web block and 1 metre girder sling in addition to the contents of Kit 2.

Slings

Chain Care Lifting Services Ltd stocks an extensive selection of slings to meet the needs of your lifting requirements.  Our flat slings have a working load limit of between 800kg and 24 tonnes and are fabricated from durable double ply polyester webbing and feature reinforced lifting eyes for added strength.  All flat slings have a safety factor of 7:1, but we are able to supply slings with safety factors of 5:1 and 6:1 on request.  We also offer a range of round slings that are colour coded to DIN EN 1492-2 and feature stripes for easy identification of capacity; each stripe represents a 1 tonne capacity.  These are also fabricated in polyester with a double ply woven heavy duty sleeve.

Hi Lift Jacks

If you are looking for a versatile jack to assist with any lifting, pushing, winching, clamping and pulling requirements you may have, then look no further than our Hi Lift Jack.  Although extremely strong and robust, this jack is fabricated from powder coated steel and is very lightweight at only 14kgs making it easy to manoeuvre. It features and adjustable clamp clevis for winching and clamping and the climbing pins have been manufactured from rolled carbon steel and are designed with a minimum 80,000 pound tensile and carbon .69 to .82.

Flex

Our vast range of lifting equipment is complimented by remote control devices for the operation of overhead lifting equipment and machinery.  Highly practical, these units have been built to withstand the harsh environments they were made for.  They are lightweight, are fully sealed for excellent water resistance and provide 62 programmable user channels across a frequency range of 433-434 MHz. Flex units feature a unique I-CHIP which offers incredible flexibility by allowing information such as channel settings to be transferred between units, saving inconvenience of reprogramming spare units.

Permanent Lifting Magnets

Alleviate the need for slings, hooks and clamps and allow goods to be moved safely with no surface damage.  Our permanent lifting magnets have optimised magnetic circuits and they require no power source.  The lack of power source combined with a safety factor of 1:3.5 make them very safe to operate.
