Surface mount assembly

Three fast and flexible Philips surface automated mount lines which consists of a DEK screen printing machine, Philips SMD chip shooter, Philips fine pitch placement machine and forced air reflow soldering equipment. 

Through hole assembly

Highly automated Conventional through hole assembly using 2 Amistar axial insertion machines together with Universal DIL & Universal Radial insertion machines. 

Through hole soldering

Undertaken on one of two Blundel CMS400 flow solder machines. 

1. Dedicated to lead free (SnAgCu) soldering

2. Dedicated to tin lead (SnPb) soldering. 

Pillarhouse selective soldering equipment has been installed for complex mixed technology double sided assemblies.

• Daily shipments through Portsmouth hub for UK

• Excellent freight and passenger links by sea & air for all other destinations. 

Mechanical assembly and instrument build

Undertaken at well equipped anti static workstations. 

Testing facility

A comprehensive test facility with 

• 2 Teradyne Z1890 ATE in circuit test machines

• AOI automated optical inspection

• J-Tag boundary scan

• Full functional board and instrument test together with calibration, QC & soak.

Quality assurance & control

A flexible, BS EN ISO9001:2000, BABT and IPC-610 quality accreditations assured, responsive service.
