Our testers range from small, low cost, units, to high-end systems for the comprehensive test of complex harnesses. The smaller testers check the pattern of connections, diagnosing shorts, opens, and miss-wires in cables. The advanced systems are designed to test harnesses with thousands of wires checking continuity and measuring the resistance of connections (using two and four wire techniques), fixed resistors, diodes, twisted pairs and capacitors. Additionally, Cirris testers find and catch intermittent connections. HiPot facilities measure the leakage and strength of insulation and also help discover process errors such as solder balls and whiskers etc that can threaten insulation integrity.
