Ltd
quickly became an established supplier of external notice boards and display
cases in a variety of materials. Continued expansion of the company's activities
has seen it develop into a supplier of signage for the local authorities,
churches, schools and landscaping markets. In addition to this Greenbarnes
has developed products and services in a number of niche markets including the
provision of hymn boards, honours and incumbents boards, bespoke cabinet making
and internal notice boards.
Greenbarnes produces high quality
signs, notice boards and display cabinets for a variety of internal and external
applications including notice boards in hardwoods, maintenance-free man-made
timber and aluminium, aluminium signs & fingerposts, display cabinets and
hymn / prayerboards for churches, Trophy cabinets, book display cabinets and
document display cabinets.
NOTICEBOARDS
| Hardwood
Our
hardwood boards offer the benefits of tried and tested construction
methods, combined with a huge range of available sizes, formats and
options. Many years experience of manufacturing have been distilled into
these tradition style boards, assuring users of a quality product that
will last.
Man-made
Timber provides a unique solution for those looking to achieve a
traditional appearance but without the burden of ongoing maintenance. Our
first boards using MmT were manufactured in 1994 and, such is our
confidence in this material, that we now offer a unique 5 year guarantee.
Made from recycled plastics, MmT has a grained appearance similar to
timber, but will not warp, rot, split or fade and does not require
periodic refinishing
The
wide choice of sizes, formats and options, (broadly similar to those
available in our hardwood ranges), ensures that we can supply boards to
meet most requirements.

Aluminium
If you
are looking for a product that feels "engineered" rather than just
"put
together", with well considered details that work, then our boards are for
you.
Choose
between our A-Max range with lifetime no-condensation guarantee and the A-Min
range with a slim profile particularly suited for use in confined spaces.All
boards are available in silver or bronze anodised finish or alternatively in a
wide range of polyester powder-coated colours.
SIGNS
Greenbarnes
aluminium signs, offer a choice of three construction methods and hundreds of
possible permutations of size, design and finish. Flat plate and post
construction with a vinyl laminate finish offers a practical solution where cost
is the prime consideration.
Alternatively,
specify plate and post, post and tray or post and panel construction with a
polyester powder coated finish.
FINGERPOSTS
We offer
2 ranges of aluminium fingerposts, with arms manufactured from 3mm. aluminium
sheet for use where economy is the primary consideration, or 16mm double skin
extrusion where maximum strength and aesthetic considerations prevail. Between 1
and 8 fingers may be mounted on each post. Standard finger sizes are 750 x 165 x
3mm and 800 x 165 x 16mm, but many others are available.
Finish is
polyester powder-coated available in a wide range of colours, with lettering
applied in computer-cut vinyl characters.

produce a wide range of church furnishings, from our standard range of hymn
boards, to bespoke items including prayer boards, incumbents boards, lecterns
and display cabinets.
DISPLAY
CABINETS
We are
able to manufacture custom-made hardwood display cabinets, ranging from simple
trophy cabinets suitable for schools, sports clubs and civic buildings, through
to bespoke cabinets for the display of precious artefacts including cases
featuring frameless, bonded glass tops.
