    Company Description

Contract Plating Services from SIFCO Selective Plating is a "job shop" service.  Certified technicians can do the work at your facility, our plants or any location world-wide.  They are available to meet unexpected problems, or contract requirements responding to your need with a fast, efficient and expert service.

The portability of the SIFCO Process enables Contract Service technicians to be on site and working within a short period of time.  SIFCO technicians are adept at improvising tooling and fixturing to suit unusual conditions.  In addition, they have mechanical, metallurgical and chemical skills that form an unrivalled team approach.  In some instances, SIFCO does the work while training you or your personnel to perform subsequent jobs of a similar nature.

The SIFCO Process is a portable method of selectively electrofinishing localised areas without having to use an immersion tank.  Over 100 pure metals and alloys are available for plating using the SIFCO Process.  In addition, five types of anodising as well as electropolishing can be accomplished using the same SIFCO Process.  Unlike Tank Plating, the SIFCO Process does not require extensive masking, special fixtures or elaborate equipment.

SIFCO Process deposits have an excellent adhesion and can be plated at rates that are 30 to 60 times faster than conventional tank plating.  The quality of the deposits and adhesion to base materials are, as a whole, equivalent or superior to that which may be obtained using good tank plating practices.

We are also available to fulfil your regular plating needs on an ongoing basis by utilising our skilled Technicians, thus reducing the inherent costs of maintaining your own plating equipment.  If you are carrying out your own plating, why not utilise our manufacturing facilities for your contract chemical requirements?  We are able to fulfil all your needs for plating accessories such as chemicals, power packs and anodes.  Should you have specific requirements for our services please do not hesitate to contact us.
