Filton Limited formed in 1942 design, develop and manufacture a wide range of precision made air breather filters and rotary and swivel joints for industry worldwide.

Filton has been approved by Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance to the ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System Standard.

Quality is paramount and Filton's strict quality assurance procedures include 100% pressure testing of self-contained rotary seals before release to the customer. All tests are recorded and can be traced to the units unique serial number.

One of our main interests today is in the production of standard and special rotary seals - by using state of the art designs and sophisticated seal face materials, we can undertake and solve a multitude of complex sealing problems.

• Air Breather Filters - Air breather filters allow for the flow of clean air to and from a closed chamber where balanced atmospheric pressure is required, such as in gear boxes, bearings operating at high speed and hydraulic power packs.  Filton air breather filters ensure that there is no dangerous build up of pressure or vacuum due to temperature or volume changes.
• Hoses - We recommend that our Rotary Unions be connected by flexible hoses.  Hoses to carry air, water, gas, steam, hot oil services and low pressure oil are all available.  Hoses can be supplied in various lengths with a variety of ends including fixed male, swivel male, fixed female, fixed flange and swivel flange. 
• Specials - We undertake to design and manufacture rotary unions to meet customers specific requirements and are experienced in producing Multi-Port Unions.  Available in a range of materials including aluminium, bronze, carbon steel, stainless steel and nickel alloys.
• Spares and Repairs - We offer a repair service covering all of our product range.
