Precision pressing & forming- we
operate a large press shop, manufacturing all tooling in-house with pressing
capabilities of up to 55 tonne.

Assemblies
- we have the capability to assemble all types of plastic, electronic components including, spot welding & ultrasound welding.
Multi-Slide components
- Within Sterling Springs press shop, we have a large Finzer multislide capability with press stage of 15
tonne; allowing large batch volume of components at very high speed, with great accuracy and low cost.
Acoustic Headbands
- we have been producing acoustic headbands and neckbands for military and commercial use over 50 years and
have gained tremendous experience in our customers requirements and expectations of all types of
headsets; offering a full design capability through to manufacture.
Coil Springs
- Sterling Springs offers compression, torsion & tension springs in a range of materials and
dimensions, along with in-house design facilities.
Wire Forms
- By using standard tooling and computerised forming facilities, we can offer all types of wire shapes to customer requirements in any type of material.

We operate a high tech fully equipped tool room, which with our highly skilled personnel allows us to manufacture tooling quickly and effectively, leading to very competitive costs and shorter lead times to our customers.

Quality - working
to ISO 9002 quality system which is BSI registered to FM02114. We use
outside quality consultants to administrate our quality systems. These
systems are audited on a monthly basis to give our customers confidence that
their quality requirements are met.
Materials - Sterling Springs is unique in having have access to raw materials from our sister companies in the Knight Group.
In most cases materials can be sheared and ready for production use in days rather than weeks, significantly reducing customer lead times.
Customer Support
- Our administration team maintains regular customer contact. Delivery dates are monitored and other issues regarding deliveries, material certification and letters of acknowledgement closely managed.
This attention to detail gives our customers confidence and security when an order is placed, assured of their lead time requirements being met.
