Michell Instruments maintain
full traceability to National Standards - NPL (UK) and NIST (USA) allowing us to
perform dewpoint calibrations on behalf of these institutes in our laboratory in
Ely - believed to be the largest calibration facility in the world. We are
also registered with ISO9001:2000 and accredited with UKAS (United Kingdom
Accreditation Service) achieving an uncertainty level (with a coverage factor of
k=2) of ±0.14 at +20°Cdp rising to ±0.44 at -90°Cdp.
Michell also has a long tradition in the manufacture of humidity calibration
systems. Michell were chosen to develop a reference standard for the EC
Bureau of Reference in 1981 and this work was followed by orders to supply many
National Standards laboratories throughout the World with precision generating
and measuring systems.
