Duty of Care
The principle of Duty of Care places a responsibility on waste producers, carriers and disposers to ensure that waste is dealt with in accordance with current legislation. Waste producers must ensure that the waste arising from their premises is handled by a registered waste carrier and is treated or disposed of at a licensed facility.
