We are an authorised distributor for Guidance
Navigation's CyScan laser reference system. We also supply Fanbeam, Laser reflector, Dynamic positioning, Reflective tape, Reflective target, Prism, Prism array & Prism cluster.
The CyScan is used primarily as a high performance dynamic positioning (DP) laser reference sensor and has been specifically designed and engineered for the harsh marine environment. The system repetitively measures range and bearing consistently with high accuracy.
Through its user-friendly control software the system outputs many different industry standard data formats, which can be interfaced to all DP and other vessel control systems. The unit contains active wave motion compensation, which ensures that the rotating laser is able to track the reflective targets even in difficult sea states.
The system utilises passive inexpensive reflective flat, circular or prism array targets which are also available from
Marinetronix Limited.
