Vibratory bowl feeders

Bowl feeders
Drive mechanisms, up to 600 series are tuned to give vibration frequencies of 100 pulses per second. This enables small light-weight and difficult components to be correctly orientated, as the drive amplitude is extremely smooth compared with 50Hz frequency units. Series 750, 900, 1050 (where a greater amplitude is needed).
Bowl Tops
Our bowl tops are manufactured from stainless steel or cast aluminium, to give high resistance to wear and if necessary hardened materials are fitted.
We also offer linings to food and pharmaceutical standards.

Vibratory linear feeders

Linear Feeders
Adept Automation has developed a range of vibratory linear feeders which will accommodate a tooled track from 100mm to 750mm in length (depending on size and weight of the part).
These feeders are used in addition to a bowl feeder; thereby keeping the bowl fill-height level at a minimum and allowing easy access. They also provide buffer storage, allowing the bowl feeder (via a sensing device fitted to the linear track) to be switched off for a period of time.
A linear feeder also provides consistent drive to the components in the track..

Each feeder is supplied with a control unit for amplitude and speed adjustment All controllers are able to supply both half wave and full wave pulse control and are supplied in a heavy-duty enclosure.
Where extra heavy components are to be fed or very consistent amplitude is necessary, we offer a control system.

Bulk Storage

Bulk Storage Hoppers
Vibratory bulk storage hoppers are used to load parts into a bowl feeder, giving large storage capacities and providing several hours running time. The hoppers can also be used to trickle-feed awkward components.
Elevating Hopper Loaders
Used to load heavy (or where appropriate light) parts to bowl feeders that because of design layout parameters are situated at a high level.
