We seek overseas
markets (particularly in developing countries) for used British defence
equipment. By definition, the surplus equipment and stores we sell
have been written off and therefore; in theory, are worth only scrap
value. In practice they are a source of affordable and proven
defence equipment for other countries and provide UK industry with an
additional source of income. |
DSA primarily gets a return on surplus inventory through the long established use of partnering agreements with marketing contractors.
They are responsible for the collection, storage, accounting, upgrade and sale of the stores and equipment, with an agreed percentage share returned to DSA.
Hazardous and special waste are disposed of through a central contract.
DSA operates within the guiding principles of:
- economy
- efficiency
- effectiveness
- service and quality
- innovation and
flexibility
We now offer a disposal service for the public and private sectors comprising asset realisation, inventory disposal, site clearances, waste management, consulting, valuations and project management.
To enhance your
