A choice of
microprocessor control systems is available to suit most applications.
As an option, the
multi-profile upgrade can be fitted to most models which will offer extra
flexibility in the form of three temperature/time profiles which can all
be programmed within one cycle. This option is particularly useful where
resuscitation techniques are involved, as with Coliform and E.Coli
detection, where resuscitation at 30°C is followed by incubation at 37°C
or 40°C.
A special feature of
the multi-profile Qualicool is the unique fridge initiation system
which automatically isolates the refrigeration unit when an operating
temperature of more than 10°C above ambient is programmed into the cycle,
thus avoiding the need for manual intervention.
