Selectronix is a specialist in high speed communications assemblies (Fibre Channel, SCSI, Infiniband, etc) and related components.
We are distributors of connectors and components.
We also manufacture and distribute a range of EMC filter products.
Formed in 1979 as a specialist UK distributor of interconnection products, together with a range of electromechanical devices, Selectronix has since developed along two
avenues, as a:
- Distributor of waterproof connector systems
and products, relays, switches and sensors
- Manufacturer, in our own modern assembly plant, of SCSI cables for computer related applications where technical expertise is required; and as a supplier of Fibre Channel,
Infiniband, Gigabit Ethernet solutions for this dynamic new market.

We supply regularly into mainland Europe, we have customers in virtually all EC countries.

Approvals
We are members of AFDEC, Association of Franchised Distributors of Electronic Components.
All areas of the company operate under a QA program that has passed ISO, 9002 approval, however despite successfully passing each
'inspection' for many years, we became unimpressed by the program and decided not to proceed our application in 2004 - we still operate all the same proceedures and continue to manage them as they evolve.
In 2002 we acquired Onboard Electronics, based in Basingstoke.
