In 1974, Beta Tools entered their own team into Formula 1 in order to test and innovate their products. In 1975 Beta Tools scored its first victory: the orange Beta Utensili/March driven by Vittorio Brambilla won the Austrian Grand Prix in Zeltweg, in the pouring rain. In Formula 1, Beta Tools have been tool suppliers to Scuderia Ferrari. Beta Tools currently sponsor and supply the Yamaha motoGP teams of Valentino Rossi and James Toseland.
