Bristol Metal Spraying and Protective Coatings has been a leading specialist in the industrial coatings industry for over 70 years. The company operates from a well situated large site with good access and a factory of 36,000 sq ft which is conveniently situated on the south side of
ristol with excellent access to the motorway network near the interchange of the M4 & M5.
We offer coatings to protect against Corrosion, Erosion, Abrasion, Wear and Weather. We also offer coatings for Aesthetic and cosmetic finishes and Thermal barriers for heat reduction and control.
We are able to handle items made up of multiple components or a single component 4m wide x 3m high x 20m long and up to 20 tonnes in weight .

Limpetite - We apply 2 grades of Limpetite rubber coating - Limpetite A3 and Limpetite PRC.
Limpetite A3 is used to provide long term protection for C.W. systems, condenser water boxes and tube plates in power stations and rudders, stabilisers and underwater appendages on Royal Navy Aircraft Carriers, Frigates and Destroyers.
Limpetite A3 is a Synthetic Rubber which is a brush applied multi-coat system which has built an excellent track record in providing protection against corrosion, erosion and cavitation that has been achieved over the past 30 years. It is used to provide long term protection for C.W. systems, condenser water boxes and tube plates in power stations and rudders, stabilisers and underwater appendages on Royal Navy Aircraft Carriers, Frigates and Destroyers.
Limpetite PRC is a Sprayable Rubber. It environmentally friendly 100% volume solid sprayable rubber will provide the same protection as Limpetite A3 but has the advantages of being solvent free, environmentally friendly and fast to apply.
It is more suitable for coating large surface areas and can be applied wet on wet to 5mm W.F.T. without sagging or shrinking. This product will continue to cure when immersed thereby reducing down time.
