LEAD
FREE PCB's
EECO-Green
is our advanced, Lead-Free, Silver-Through-Hole
(STH) technology for double-sided Printed Circuit Boards.
Our
STH process
forces a thick-film silver-conductive paste through drilled holes replacing
conventional Plated-Through-Holes
(PTH).
Pioneered and perfected by EECO
over
years of R&D, EECO-Green
STH
requires fewer production steps than PTH, and by avoiding harsh
production-process chemistries, allows less expensive PCB laminates, e.g., FR1
(UL-94V0) to be used.
Our standard PCB's are
finished with lead-free OSP (Organic Solderability Preservative). OSP-finished
PCB's are fully compatible with all current assembly processes, including
standard tin/lead wave-solder, lead-free solders and SMT pastes, as well as
mixed assembly techniques.

Made
from silicone rubber, EECO
Elastomer
keypads are available either conductive or non-conductive, single or
multi-coloured, and to almost any shape to suit customers' individual design
requirements. They may interface directly with a Printed Circuit Board or with a
Membrane switch
layer. Applications are widespread and varied.

EECO
integral type Elastomer keypads may be supplied
'with or without legends', with solid colours or in natural translucent colour.
The latter are specified where backlighting is used, in which case the keys may
be field-lighted (printed legend on translucent field) or reverse field-lighted
(printed field with lighting through etched-out legend).
ELASTOMERIC
CONNECTORS
The
connector is the link between an LCD and a PCB. They are now widely used on
digital screens, home electrical goods, communication equipment, games and in
vehicles. For the best connectors use the EECO brand.
EECO
Elastomeric Connectors, made from silicone rubber, offer an economic and
reliable solderless connection, particularly between LCD displays and PCBs. They
require only slight clamping pressure to make the connection.
The
connectors are made up of alternating conductive and insulator layers usually
supported by the sponge rubber insulator walls on one or both sides.
