Anglia Land Surveys -
since 1976 we have invested in state of the art equipment and experienced staff,
offering the very best service and value for money. All our surveys are
produced to ISO9001/2000 standard to ensure the highest level of quality.
ALS use conventional EDM, GPS and Reflectorless technology enabling accurate plotting of drawings to any specified scale.
Drawings can be provided in electronic form to most formats (dwg, dxf, dgn, ASCII, Moss) in 2d or 3d to enable ground modelling and on film or paper.
For larger sites we are able to utilise our quad bike that has been set up to accommodate GPS equipment for quick logging of points.
Services we provide include:
Topographical Surveys (Conventional EDM or
GPS) - we specialise in producing accurate topographical site
surveys. Typical applications include:
- proposed housing developments - from
individual plots to large scale projects.
- engineering design - from road planning,
coastal defence to reservoir design.
Surveys can be orientated to
national/global coordinate systems or to established local coordinates.
Building
Surveys - our specialist team are experienced in producing a range of
drawings tailored to the clients specifications including:
|

|
-
street scene elevations
-
photographic surveys
- 3D laser scanning
- digitising

|
GPS Surveys
- a fast and cost effective method for collecting large volumes of level and
detail information over open sites. The base station collects data over a
specified period of time, tracking the positions of available orbiting
satellites. Back in the our office this data can be tied into Ordnance
Survey grid and datum.
Setting out
services - following on from initial site surveys, architects and
engineers produce detailed design and layout drawings. From this we are
able to return to the site and accurately position and set out building, road
and drainage layouts.
Projects undertaken include housing
developments, highway, sewers, piling and larger civil engineering projects.
Volume
& Area Calculations Level Monitoring - once an original survey
model has been measured and stored, any number of proposed models can be
generated using our software. From this accurate quantities or cut and
fill calculations can be produced.
Further surveys can then be carried
out at regular intervals or on specific material layers, as they are excavated
or filled to produce accurate quantities as work progresses.
