The EC
Electronics Group provides a comprehensive range of Contract Electronics
Manufacturing ( CEM ) Services to a growing customer base from operations
located in the UK and Romania.

In 2005 a
strategic decision was taken to provide offshore CEM services from a base
in Eastern Europe.
As a
result, EC Electronics SRL, a fully operational, wholly- owned subsidiary,
offers a full range of Contract Electronics Manufacturing Services from
factory premises based in Petrila, Romania.
We see our future as a pan European Contract Electronics Manufacturer
operating from both the UK and Romania. |
We firmly believe we
can offer significant potential cost savings to UK OEM's whose volume
requirements may justify manufacturing offshore, and to companies based in
Continental Europe and other countries, who have a preference for a European
based supplier.
Our mission is to
continue to provide totally customer focused services, leading to sustainable,
strategic supply partnerships and long term relationships.
Committed investment in our wholly owned offshore manufacturing facilities and
the latest specialist equipment and processes for the business as a whole,
enables us to achieve competitive pricing and efficient manufacturing
operations, across all our sites and range of CEM services.

Our UK operation
is located in Basingstoke, Hampshire, UK.
Continued growth led to a move to our current factory and HQ site in 1999, where
a full range of PCB Assembly services, including Automatic Pick & Place
Surface mount (SMT ) and conventional Plated Through Hole ( PTH ), was added to
our capability portfolio.
Development of the manufacturing service capabilities continued with the
introduction of overmoulding, potting and encapsulation facilities, together
with a special projects team to provide low volume, high- value
electromechanical build services to a growing list of UK customers.
A second factory unit was acquired at our Basingstoke location in 2004,
providing additional space for the introduction of a bonded warehouse and cell
based manufacturing facilities to meet specific client requirements.
During 2006 EC invested heavily in new plant & equipment to meet the 'lead
free' RoHS European Directive.
We will continue to provide UK- based high quality CEM services to clients with
low to medium batch applications.
