Formed
in 1992 to provide specialist lighting to the Machine Vision and Microscopy
Industries. Appointed as UK & Ireland distributor for Stocker Yale
illumination products covering high frequency fluorescent, fibre optic and LED
lighting.
Growth
in the image capture market demanded a wider range of specialist LED lighting
and in 1998 SAP Ltd became the UK & Ireland distributor for Metaphase
Technologies.
With the
introduction of new generation high powered LEDs SAP Ltd were appointed by
Spectrum Illumination as their European outlet.
SAP Ltd
can now offer a very wide range of vision lighting, something to suit the
majority of today's image illumination requirements.
Continued
growth has lead to the introduction of video microscopes along with items for
the electronic production industry of screen printers, solder batch reflow
ovens, manual pick & place and sensor tip soldering irons. The extra
business and equipment required a move of premises and as of the 18th of August
2004 we moved to a new site, Unit 1E The Gattinetts. With further expansion
another move in July 2006 to our current site at Manor Farm Business Centre
provides full facilities of offices, stock, shipping, laboratory and
demonstration rooms.
