Motors
EMS has a huge range of small to medium sized
Brushed & Brushless DC motors utilising a range of technologies.
The unique System Faulhaber° DC motors from Minimotor SA using skew wound ironless core rotor technology give unrivalled power to weight ratios.
The admittance of iron in the winding improves efficiency and enhances acceleration times giving outstanding dynamic performance together with long life under extreme load conditions.
Sizes start from 1.9mm diameter motor and planetary gearhead, up to 38mm and 220 Watts, making them suitable for applications such as medical devices, aerospace, control and instrumentation.
Actuation Systems
EMS provide a comprehensive range of electric linear Actuators and Telescopic columns for a wide range of
applications; suitable for use with power supplies ranging from 12/24V DC through to 120/230/380V
AC. Supplying the UK market since 1985, we have vast experience in specifying and supplying the right product for your application.

Miniature Precision Bearings
Miniature Ball Screws with a standard range
starting with a screw of only a 4.25mm diameter offering a dynamic axial load
rating of 439N and goes up to a 13.6mm screw delivering an exceptional 2544N
dynamic axial load rating.
Access Products
EMS is the sole UK agent for Magnetic Autocontrol GmbH.
Magnetic manufacture a wide range of traffic barriers and pedestrian turnstiles.
We also represent the parking division of IE Keyprocessor in the Netherlands and VSU in France.
These companies produce parking systems, access control systems and electrically operated bollards, enabling EMS to provide complete solutions for both vehicle and pedestrian access.
EMS sells its products through a network of qualified installers who will be pleased to quote for anything from a single barrier installation to a complex parking system.
