KAC Alarm Company Ltd is the world leader in the design and manufacture of call point technology and audible visual devices.
KACs products include an extensive range of indoor and outdoor call points and audible visual systems.
Indoor call points: MCP
KAC offers a large range of call points which can be conventional or analogue addressable, and surface or flush-mounted.
The MCP range is designed to reduce installation time by using a special terminal block, connected to the back of the call point, where all initial installation cabling is terminated.
MCP call points can be configured as either break glass or re-settable units meaning no additional parts are needed.
All call points are tamper-proof and approved to EN 54-11.
Outdoor call points: WCP
KAC outdoor call points are designed for use in extreme weather conditions, with an operating temperature range of -30°C to +70°C. All models are IP 67 rated.
WCP models are available with configurations compatible with all conventional panels, and intelligent versions are offered to meet specific requirements. The WCP range is approved to EN 54-11.
Intelligent audible visual alarms
The company's analogue addressable range of audible visual alarms has been designed to enable the integration of third-party electronics.
The alarms can be installed as traditional wall-mounted devices, or as detector base devices. A separate, common installation base is installed to allow simple twist fit of the AV device. This has a shorting spring to enable loop continuity to be maintained, without having to install the device or detector. The base is available in low profile, surface or weatherproof versions, allowing it to be used in both indoor and outdoor locations.
Conventional sounders and strobes
Conventional sounders and sounder/strobes are suitable for both fire and security applications and are available in 4 and 14 tone versions. Locally controllable output levels enable the sound intensity to be adjusted. Low-profile, surface and waterproof versions are available, enabling the units to be used internally or externally.
Detector base sounders and strobes are also available, for use underneath smoke detectors or as low-profile, stand-alone sounders mounted on walls.
Finish and appearance
Most products are offered in red or white, with many call points available in yellow, blue or green.
